What tooth pattern should I use? Here are some basic guidelines to follow as it relates to the proper tooth pattern to use when cutting materials:
Number of teeth in the cut:
Minimum – 3 teeth in the cut
If there are too few teeth in the cut, the teeth can straddle the work piece, which can cause stripping.
